Surfrider Foundation Kauai is looking for volunteers! Sunday, August 14 @ 3:30
Come Join NET PATROL! We are looking for volunteers to help remove an abandonded-Marin Debris net in Anahola
LOCATION: North Anahola
To reach the beach, you turn on the second, more northern Aliomanu Road, and then you turn left onto Kalalea View Drive. You will be in the Aliomanu Estates subdivision. Stay on that road until you see the first road on your right that is not a driveway. Follow it to the end and you will see a parking lot. Follow the trail down to the beach and go left until the sand ends. The net is there.
For more info call or text Barbara @ 808-635-2593
This net needs to be removed ASAP because a monk seal is hanging out close by!
The Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches, for all people, through Conservation, Activism, Research and Education (C.A.R.E.).
