We send this workshop information to you in regards to a very special ‘Aha Pule Prayer Vigil to be held at Pohakuloa on August 13 on the slopes of Mauna Loa (site outside of the Pohakuloa Training Area) for the healing of the land there. If you are interested and feel moved to participate, please attend one or both of the upcoming orientation workshops. Format, logistics, prayers and chants will be covered.
Workshop Information:
Date – Saturday, July 23rd, 2011
Time – 9:00 a.m –12:00 p.m.
Place – Kanu O ka Aina, Ho’olako School and Community Building in Waimea Hawaiian Homes (if you need directions request per email)
Items To Bring – Water, Recording Devise, pahu, lapaiki or puniu (if you have one), Note paper

We have included below a brief description of the vigil and if you know anyone else who may be interested please forward the information to them. If you are not able to attend one of these sessions, know that we will be scheduling more orientation sessions as well as inviting you to regular practice sessions.
You are welcome to attend the orientation sessions even if you are not participating on the day of the vigil
